We at Randstad are now looking for an experienced maintenance mechanic with a strong interest in technology and a desire to develop within maintenance work in production.

This is an exciting opportunity to become an important part of ASSA ABLOY's operations in Mölnlycke. You will work in a modern production environment and play a key role in ensuring that the machinery operates optimally. The assignment is a consultancy role via Randstad, with a great opportunity for permanent employment with ASSA ABLOY for the right person.

ASSA ABLOY is a world-leading supplier in the door and lock industry. We are now looking for a maintenance mechanic for their production facility in Gothenburg for their evening shift. As a maintenance mechanic at ASSA ABLOY, you will play a central role in their team and be responsible for both preventive and urgent maintenance of machines and equipment.

The working hours are scheduled for evenings as follows: Monday-Thursday: 14:40-23:00, Friday 13:25-20:05.

Responsibilities

As a maintenance mechanic, your main responsibility is to ensure that the machinery operates optimally. You will work both with preventive maintenance and urgent repairs to minimize operational disruptions. During the evening shift, you will be our key person for technical maintenance, where you work independently while closely collaborating with other functions in production.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Machine maintenance: Regular service and repair of machines to ensure high operational reliability and quality.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime.
• Improvement work: Implement measures to increase machine efficiency and production safety.
• HSE focus: Identify and report deficiencies in health, environment, and safety, and ensure that work is performed according to applicable regulations and guidelines.

You will be part of our maintenance department that supports the entire operation. Good communication and collaboration are crucial for success in the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a genuine technical interest, driven by problem-solving, and who thrives in a production environment where structure and quality are essential. You are meticulous, solution-oriented, and take the initiative to ensure that machines and equipment operate at peak performance. As a maintenance mechanic, you play a significant role in the overall working environment in production, which is why we seek someone who is attentive and enjoys pointing out and working on improvement measures regarding health, environment, and safety. As part of the maintenance department, you will work with your colleagues to ensure that the department complies with applicable laws and regulations for a safe workplace.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Previous experience in maintenance work within the industry.
• A strong interest in technology and a desire to develop in your role.
• Technical high school education or equivalent experience.
• Good experience in turning, milling, and similar machining methods.
• Knowledge of welding.
• Fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Forklift license TLP 10.
• Hot work certificate.
• Good computer skills, including experience in documenting maintenance work and follow-ups digitally.
